Remember, eh.

November 7th.

If looking for something to do on the 11th, Dan suggests the Museum of the Regiments just off Crowchild. While there, check out the hangers: some amazing Canadian fighters on display.

Ian Campbell: Have you heard? Good audiologists are hard to find. There just aren’t that many of them and when you find one looking for a position, you go to him or her. So Ian’s off to Halifax to interview a recent graduate … and he’ll catch his son’s Home Opener game at Dal, at the same time.

Matt Dart. There’s been some turmoil at Johnson Controls but it’s settling down.

Don Davis. He’s uneasy about the end of Alberta-owned grocery chains. Calgary Coop is now under the umbrella of Save On Foods. • With Remembrance Day upon us, he mentioned his uncle who was a WWII prisoner. When released, he weighed 68 pounds. But he lived to 76 years of age.

Todd Dean:

George Doherty.

Don Doolan .

Tony Fisher. Want to hang out with an interesting (my word, not Tony’s) bunch of people in the middle of the afternoon? Go to the Calgary Casino at Barlow Trail and 16th Avenue NE. You’ll find 800 slot machines ready to take your money. And if you start feeling peckish, just about any Vietnamese restaurant on 32 Ave NE will do.

Gord Forsyth There’s a clever Job share/Job shadow service for High School students. Details at . https://www.careersnextgen.ca/ The contact in Calgary is Stephanie Jones at 1-888-757-7172  When he and Heather were in Europe, they visited Arnheim (seen in the movie, A Bridge Too Far). They were touched by how grateful to the Canadians, the Dutch remain  • Gord shakes his head in disbelief at how much misinformation surrounds the latest AB budget.

Mel Gibson.  A little insurance trivia: when your unoccupied Tesla starts up on its own and careens down the street and causes an accident … are you liable? • Don’t blink: Brokerlink is buying up agencies faster than you can say … Mel Gibson. • Mel has recently visited the deep south (of Calgary) and is impressed with South Campus Health Centre and also, the new, local CBE high school.

Henry Heuver.

David Hicks . He’s proud of his son: the seventh fastest speed skater in Alberta. • Dave sounds pretty busy not being busy (if that makes any sense).

Dan Kennelly. He has some sky-hook stories to tell, I think.

Matt Litke. It’s a full life! First of all: his wife is 8 months pregnant and all is well. In-laws and parents are expected to visit, any day now.• His update on Henry Heuver: Henry has had some surgery on his hand and it’s not healing as rapidly as Henry’d like. • Matt is busy taking care of his banking customers while also studying for his Financial Planning Designation. •

Andy Lockhart.

JD. MacDonald. Be vigilant. Hire http://albertaverified.ca/   trades, contractors and providers.

Michael McLennan.I

Ross Mikkelsen. I n case you were wondering, Costco is the 2nd largest retailer in Canada. • The Eataly Store is just amazing. (Um, no they’re not here. Toronto and online are your best bets) • Another visit to the Twilight Zone? Not surprisingly, Ross had a recent, fascinating ‘engagement with the Federal government’. However, it was profitable in a way, actually.

Mike Mikkelson.

Brad Pachal. If you’re wondering how to dispose of your electronics, bottle depots are now accepting such items.

Gerry Parcells.

Dwayne Vinck. At present, he is looking forward to seeing if the Kids Help Phone bid to operate an all-ages, suicide support service (nationally) goes ahead. • Given the times and military comments at breakfast, Duane told us of his visit to the Miramar airbase – before 9/11,

Bob Wiggins . He’s currently chiseling new stone tablets for the change of signing officers for the Birds’ bank account.
