The Better Butcher came for breakfast, as Dwayne’s guest. Like Dwayne, he’s had to walk down a long road for kidney health. This morning, he shared some of his journey with us.
I left early, so minutes are incomplete. My apologies.
Members:
Brett Bain.
Sean Baylis. He’s riding Kraft Heinz up and down. Right now, it’s down 40%. A buy? Maybe, eh. Crescent Point has board member issues. He’s keeping an eye on proceedings.
Jim Bladon. It’s hard being a banker: this weekend, he has to attend to his clients and their products at the industry festival in the BMO Centre. It’s called The Craft Beer Festival.
Paul Boucher.
Ian Campbell. Golfing in Invermere is already enjoying good greens.
Matt Dart.
Don Davis. In praise of Tea Gods and great dirt from Eagle Lake.
Todd Dean.
George Doherty. Would like us to invite Jeff Bradshaw to breakfast so he can talk about what he’s doing with weed.
Don Doolan. Learning how to pee straight, again. (Well, assuming he used to do so.)
Gord Forsyth .
Mel Gibson. He’s an insurance guy for gawd’s sake. You’d think he’d be subdued and somewhat conservative. Yet what does he talk about? Wildfires and Grow Ops!
Henry Heuver. His firm has finally been able to replant some trees this year. They’re already starting to bud out which is going to mean a short growing season for the trees.
David Hicks.
Dan Kennelly. His red baseball cap is much more clever than Donald Trump’s. Dan’s reads: “Make Trudeau a Drama Teacher Again”. • Kananaskis opens May 10th. • Gas compressors are scarce this year as the US can’t get enough of them. That’s how busy producing – and shipping – energy they are
Matt Litke. He’s liking Green Organic Dutchman and the Tea God.
Andy Lockhart. Brought a book without pictures to Birds. There are not even pictures on the cover. It’s an annual report. A green one. If you’d like to read Warren’s wisdom, here’s a link to the annual: http://www.berkshirehathaway.com/2017ar/2017ar.pdf
