The Better Butcher came for breakfast, as Dwayne’s guest. Like Dwayne, he’s had to walk down a long road for kidney health. This morning, he shared some of his journey with us.

Jim Bladon. It’s hard being a banker: this weekend, he has to attend to his clients and their products at the industry festival in the BMO Centre. It’s called The Craft Beer Festival.

Mel Gibson. He’s an insurance guy for gawd’s sake. You’d think he’d be subdued and somewhat conservative. Yet what does he talk about? Wildfires and Grow Ops!
Henry Heuver. His firm has finally been able to replant some trees this year. They’re already starting to bud out which is going to mean a short growing season for the trees.

Dan Kennelly. His red baseball cap is much more clever than Donald Trump’s. Dan’s reads: “Make Trudeau a Drama Teacher Again”. • Kananaskis opens May 10th. • Gas compressors are scarce this year as the US can’t get enough of them. That’s how busy producing – and shipping – energy they are
Matt Litke. He’s liking Green Organic Dutchman and the Tea God.
