Early Birds, March 11, 2021

Any Lockhart shared a little SAWS  goodness with us today (Southern Alberta Woodworkers Society). They have an exercise, a contest of sorts to see what these woodchucks that would chuck wood can do with a single 2 X 4 that's 96 inches long using various techniques. After Andy told us he managed to get 5 of his full size, carved wood cowboy boots and couple of miniatures, we admonished him and told him there must be photos or video.

Happily, he obliged. See below.

As one wit said, for a lot of us, it would be close to a masterstroke to end up with two pieces of 2 X 4 that were the same length.

George Roberts was as close to apoplectic today as George gets. Think Jordan Peterson after a few whiskeys and a painkiller.

His frustration was tied to the Indigenization of Canadian universities, and he wanted to be sure to share the article that brought his feelings to a head. Tom Olson had a few choice words about the non-Royals-we're-supposed-to-feel-sorry-for, and it led to him sharing this fabulous little video post-meeting with the lovely title "why are u @^#%#$ following me?".
