On the subject of COVID, Andy Lockhart mentioned Michael Lewis' new book "The Premonition - A Pandemic Story". There's a great quote on Michael Lewis' writing among the reviews: "I would buy an 800 page history of the Stapler if he wrote it." Lewis has a few fans among Birds. You can find a link to the book via Pages in Kensington here:https://pageskensington.com/item/L0V8Hcd1MxaxdQaKkZP_7w
Dave Hicks - who's on the road a lot between Calgary and Jasper, PRIME podcast listening time - had this recommendation from the podcast The Joe Rogan Experience. It was the episode featuring an interview with Jonathan Haidt, co-author, of The Coddling Of The American Mind. Definitely some Birds-friendly opnionating in this one. Find the podcast here: https://podcastaddict.com/episode/61483309
If you're interested in searching, both authors of the book are also interviewed on the Dark Horse and Jordan Peterson podcasts in separate episodes. You'll notice that each of the podcast links ties to a different location. The reason for that is that most podcasters with their sort of profile have their own sites with links, or they "broadcast" their podcasts on various channels, including Apple podcasts, Spotify podcasts and numerous others. I just pick the one I find first generally, and the least annoying one from an ad perspective, if possible.
Tony Fisher popped this into my inbox right after the meeting was over; it's a quick newsletter release from MP Jag Sahota regarding the Liberals' odious bill C-10, which can be most charitably filed under "...it started with good intentions....". Tony fired over a scan of the newsletter, which you can view by clicking the button below.
